Good to know
How the numbers are worked out
- Year 1 is today's rent. The first increase applies from year 2.
- On last year's rent means each raise builds on the one before it, which is how SetURent applies an increase. On today's rent adds the same rupee amount every year.
- Every amount is rounded to a whole rupee.
- Rent rules differ by state and an agreement can set its own terms. Check both before you set an increase.
