Will my employer accept this receipt for HRA?

A receipt records that rent was paid. What an employer accepts, and what the tax rules ask for, can change, so check with your employer or a tax adviser. This tool does not give tax advice.

How do I save the receipts as a PDF?

Choose Print, then pick Save as PDF as the destination. Every month goes into one file, three receipts to an A4 page.

Why do some lines print blank?

A detail you leave empty prints as a line, so you can fill it in by hand after printing.

What a rent receipt usually shows

The date, the amount in figures and in words, and the month the rent is for.
The names of the landlord and the tenant, and the address of the property.
How the rent was paid, with a reference for UPI, a bank transfer, or a cheque.
The landlord's signature. Some employers also ask for the landlord's PAN, so there is a field for it.
